Play Reel

A visceral portrait of urban solitude — shot over 14 nights across three cities.
Echoes of the City is a 22-minute short film exploring the invisible lives that pulse beneath the surface of a sleeping metropolis. Shot entirely on location across New York, Berlin, and Tokyo, the film weaves together three parallel stories of night-shift workers whose paths never cross but whose longing rhymes. The visual language draws from the wet-street noir of Wong Kar-wai and the ambient stillness of Chantal Akerman, rendered in a desaturated copper palette that turns artificial light into something almost sacred.
